Daily Music Buzz...

Hello Young World of Music Lovers!!
Today in the world of music news I have just found out, don't know if i am late or not, but I just found out that Ms. Jordin Sparks has just released a sneak peak of her new video Battlefield over at MTV.com and I must say the little bit that she gave us in the video is EXACTLY what I imagined her video to look like and i am VERY proud and impressed because I think Jordin deserves this...so HOPEFULLY the rest of the video doesn't let me down and HOPEFULLY it seperates itself away from the rest of the junk that is out here today from these other artist. If you are a Jordin Sparks Fan/or Stan lol you can expect an album, entitled Battlefield, in the middle of summer on July 21, 2009. Jordin says that the title Battlefield really fits her life and the life that everyone else lives because "when life gets hard it can sometimes feel like a "battlefield" and when she states her favorite line, "You better go and get your Armor" she is referring to the "confidence and happiness you have to find in yourself in order to pull through." Not bad for an American Idol people were so quick to write off in the game....

Bow Wow on the other hand WANTS to be wrote off and not by the public but by his record label Columbia...He says that his label Columbia has not been on point with his career since 2004-2005 and he wants out! He states that they do not know how to respond to Rappers and that he is really the only rapper who is left on the label and that with the age difference between him and the Execs., they do not know what the young people want. He says that they seem to cater to their singers, such as John Legend, Beyonce, etc., very well but he is not getting the same treatment. So if they are treating their singers very well then why couldn't Omarion sell a damn decent record?? And is that the reason why he bounced around from Epic, to Columbia, to Timbaland's label Moseley Music Group, then to Lil' Wayne's Young Money imprint?? IDK...But I will say that as far as Columbia Records treats rappers, I honestly agree. Nas was also signed to Columbia way back when and he released GREAT albums one after another but the promotion on them were HORRIBLE. God's Son and Street's Disciple, I feel, should have gotten more attention then they actually really did. So this time around I can't argue with Mr. Shad Moss, but i will say that he probably thought his last album, New Jack City, was going to be a BIG album since he told his fans he would be retiring for awhile to focus on acting...come on now Bow, your still the guy who made everyone "Bounce with you, Bounce with you" ....do you really think anyone cares if you leave now?? lol i mean really?? He claims that T.I. is looking at him over at Atlantic Records, so New Jack City: Take 2 perhaps?? IDK but we shall see....What do you guys think about this though, Will a new label help save Bow Wow's already dead career??

In Album Release News, Jay-Z will release his new album, The Blueprint 3, through Atlantic Records in a joint deal between his new label RocNation and the Warner Brothers Music Group. There has been much speculation and questioning of who Jay-Z was going to sign to next but according to Aceshowbiz.com, he has found a home at Atlantic, although trying to keep it under wraps, and will release his new album, which will celebrate the 8th Anniversary of his first cd from the series of the Blueprint, on September 11 the very same day the first installment was released. Kanye West will take the producer's stand again to help dish out some hits and he as stated that NO auto-tune will be used in the making of this...THANK GOD!! But then again, I really didn't expect Jay to use the auto-tune mess since he never has before...unless i hope he hasn't!! But I am VERY excited about the new album being a die hard Jay fan myself, hopefully he will have another collabo with my OTHER favorite rapper Eminem on it again. We shall see.....BIG year in HIP-HOP huh??
